What's it like to stay on campus?

Dorm accommodations are simple. They feature shared hall bathrooms and most buildings are not heated or air-conditioned. Basic amenities, such as towels, bed linens, and a pillow, are provided for each twin-sized bed using a standard dorm mattress. You might consider bringing the following items: reading lamp, hangers, small fan, and extra pillows or blankets. While some dormitories have undergone renovations since your time on campus, many remain in the same condition as when you were students. Housekeeping for dorm rooms is not provided.

Considering Your Comfort:

If you prefer more amenities or a climate-controlled environment, we recommend exploring nearby hotel options. We have provided some recommendations on our room block and local accommodations options page.

The Camp Bates program is available for children ages 3-12. Would you like more information? If yes, you will have the option to register each child ages 3-12 after filling out their Reunion registration information below.*

Camp Bates offers programming for children ages 3 to 12 on Friday and Saturday of Reunion, at Merrill Gymnasium. Run by Legacy Childcare, the program provides a range of fun activities tailored to different age groups. You may check your child(ren) in and out of the program.

To secure a spot, children must be pre-registered ($100 per child). This ensures adequate staffing.

Camp Bates Schedule:

Friday: 7pm – 9pm
Saturday: 3:30pm – 9:30pm

Children will be grouped by age, examples of activities are below. Friday evening’s programming runs between the Lobster Bake and the fireworks. Camp Bates will provide a snack on Friday evening. A pizza dinner and a snack will be provided on Saturday.

Ages 3 – 5: Coloring, puppet making, magician/variety artist entertainer, story time, and a movie
Ages 6 – 8: Games (capture the flag, tag), magician/variety artist entertainer, bounce house, and a movie
Ages 9 – 12: Games (capture the flag, tag, castle ball), magician/variety artist entertainer, bounce house, and a movie
